6 weeks of skill building and scrimmage play

Winter Clinics are designed to enhance your skills.

To get the most out of your clinic experience, choose the level that best represents your current level of play.

LEVEL 1 – Beginner / Ponytail Level

• Best For: New to the sport;  current Ponytail level

• Skills Needed: None

• Skill Focus:

  • Passing, setting & serving basics

  • Directing ball to a target

  • Using 3 hits during play

  • Consistent underhand serve

  • Intro to overhand serving

LEVEL 2 – Intermediate / Majors Level

• Best For: Players with experience; moving into or in Majors

• Skills Needed:

  • Basic rotations

  • Proper passing, setting & serving

  • Developing overhand serve

  • Able to follow progressive drills

• Skill Focus:

  • Passing, setting, hitting & blocking drills

  • 4-2 system scrimmage

  • Overhand serving

LEVEL 3 – Advanced / Seniors Level

• Best For: Advanced players; School/Club experience; Seniors level

• Skills Needed:

  • Knowledge of all positions

  • Minimal-instruction drill execution

  • Understanding a 4-2 rotation

  • Solid or improving overhand serve

• Skill Focus:

  • Footwork development

  • Base positions & defensive coverage

  • Block & tip coverage

  • Target & advanced serving techniques
