What does my registration fee cover?

Jersey and shorts, referee fees, facility fees and insurance fees

What is the main difference between Panther Sports Club In House Recreational and Travel Basketball programs?
*
Tryouts - Travel Basketball requires all girls to tryout for a team. In House Recreational allows all girls to play regardless of skill level.

Fees - In House Recreational fees are generally much lower than Travel Basketball

Time Commitment - In House Recreational is 1 week night practice with your team, and a game on the weekend (typically Saturdays). An optional weekly skills clinic is available to all players whom want to work on improving their skills.

How are In House Recreational teams built?
Panther Sports Club will use a point based evaluation score. Teams will be built on an average score with each team being as close as possible to same score.

Can my daughters be on the same team?
Yes! It is our goal to stay family first.  However, outside of siblings, we CANNOT guarantee a player will play with a requested friend, although we try our best to honor teammate requests, while following the point based evaluation scores used to build teams.

Can you play both In House Recreational and Travel Basketball?
YES!

IHBB Reminders

In House Basketball Reminders

* ALL players on the ponytail level MUST wear knee pads to play (practice and games)

* No jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc.) can be worn during play. Studs must be covered by bandaids if they cannot be removed.

*All spectators must stay off the court at all times, especially younger siblings, for the safety to the players, officials and themselves. Family members may NOT sit with daughter(s) during game. Only coaches and players will be allowed on team "bench" during the entire length of the game (unless an emergency arises with your daughter).

*A reminder of the Code of Ethics that was signed upon registration that encourages good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive supports for ALL players, coaches and officials at every game, practice or other youth sport event. If you are heard disrespecting any player, coach, official or another spectator, you may be asked to leave for the remainder of the game by an official, coach or Panther Sports Club Board/Committee member.
